This accent table does not require expert assembly. Assembly is straight forward and easy with clear instructions. Holes for the wooden assembly posts use threaded plastic inserts rather than having to drive the post into a thread/less holes, and the drawers use plastic anchor inserts for the screws that hold them together. The drawer slides are already installed and work nicely. The paint is a deep solid beautiful color. The assembled product is very sturdy. The only annoyance is that the hardware is packaged so well that is requires a bit of careful effort to unpackage it safely.
