I ordered two of these to display my collectibles. The first two didnt even make it to my apartment as they were broken in transit. I chalked it up to FedEx but once I received my first replacement I noticed the packaging was pretty terrible for an all glass curio. Assembly is pretty simple, however the included instructions are horrible guidelines.
The first one we put together had a scratch on it across the front. By this time I was done with sending these back, waiting, and Id already had it mostly put together as the door is the final step. I contacted and they offered to either replace the entire thing or discount 10% I took the discount which really was only $14. I imagine its significantly more to replace this door with the manufacturer. The scratch isnt HUGELY noticeable but Im anal about keeping my furniture and items as pristine as possible, especially when I buy something specifically for display purposes.
With all that said, the final product is gorgeous and is great for anyone wanting to show off their collectibles or mementos. Bear in mind when considering your purchase how easy or hard it will be for you to move almost and all glass item weighing about 80 lbs to your next home, because I for sure do not look forward to that.
Update: Second curio was fine, but I still stand by the terrible packaging and vague instructions.
