Good price point, sturdy, not impossible to assemble, great visibility for items inside it
We are using this to display the model cars that I am building. It is a current hobby, taking off from a hobby I had in the 1950s.
But because of our age and where we live now, we have to spend a lot of time indoors. Therefore, we needed a cabinet for the completed models (each of which takes 2-3 months working several hours each day to complete).
First, the bad. The instructions could be better, without a lot of effort. Building model cars has given me a great appreciation between instructions that are created by people who already know how to build something versus instructions for people who havent already built one.
Do companies create instructions, and then watch as several people of varying skill levels building try their hand at it?
What are needed are close ups of various places where the parts go. Actual photos would be much better than tiny drawings.
Our overall rating was a 5. And we dont give those 5s out except to products that completely meet what they say they will do and are priced right.
My wife and I got it together in 2 hours, and as usual we did it without any arguments or disagreements. I wouldnt try this if your marriage is shaky.
But it sure looks nice, displays my model cars well, and has room for 5-6 more.
