excellent quality. the frame is hardwood and six ply plywood framing and gussets were needed. the cloth used is good quality and well sewn. assembly was easy with no tools needed. the seat are comfortable but not so soft that you sink in and have a hard time to get up. the seats are filled with springs like a mattress and covered top and bottom with firm foam padding. the only problem was the back cushens . you had to put the fill material into the covers which was not easy. you had to push the material into the cover thru the zippered opening which took effort and much mashing and shaking to get a smooth fill. the box is big and heavy and would need two people to carry to the room you would be assembling the couch. a good buy.
